Dates to Save 2008

Please mark the following on your calendar, and plan on joining us for the following events. Details to follow both here and via our electronic distribution list. If you are not on our email list and would like to be, please contact Lowell Duckert:
  • Friday November 7 is our inaugural symposium, "Touching the Past." Four scholars will be presenting on the theme: Peggy McCracken, Eileen Joy, Julian Yates, and Carolyn Dinshaw. The event is free and welcomes anyone who would like to attend.
  • Friday January 30: David Wallace
  • Friday April 24: Stephanie Trigg
  • GW MEMSI will also sponsor a panel at the International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo (May 7-10 2009): "How to Get the Medieval Studies You Want: Institutional Perspectives." Presenting at this round table will be Bonnie Wheeler, Stephanie Trigg, Carolyn Dinshaw, Ethan Knapp, Malcolm Litchfield, and Eileen Joy.
