GW MEMSI brings the study of the literature, history and culture of early Europe within a global perspective to students, teachers and researchers, and an interested public.
Our outreach extends from the high school students who enroll in a "Myths of Britain" course through DC's School Without Walls to the scholars from around the US and the world who travel to Washington to participate in our symposia and lecture series. Because we aim to train the next generation of humanities researchers, we are diligent in cultivating our undergraduates as well as those graduate students who will undertake advanced work.
Every event we sponsor is free and open to all who wish to attend. Given the current economic landscape, we are always seeking financial support for our initiatives and for our students. If you can help, please contact the Director (firstname.lastname@example.org) directly. You may also contribute via a check made out to the George Washington University with "GW MEMSI" in the memo line mailed to the George Washington University, 2100 M Street, NW, Suite 310 Washington, D.C. 20052.
You may also donate online, but please ensure that you designate your gift for the GW Medieval and Early Modern Studies Institute.
We thank you for your support. We couldn't accomplish anything without YOU.
